An Elegant themes divi Review:

As the year wraps up I have reflected a lot on how much money I’ve spent to keep this blog running, and how much profit has resulted from all my efforts. 

I wanted to make this Elegant Themes Divi review for everyone out there who needs a little firsthand information on this unique blog theme!

So, with this said, I wanted to write about one of my largest blog expenses and give my honest review!

Your blog’s theme may be your most important decision that can make or break your blog’s success.

Having a streamlined theme can either give you incredible headaches or save you countless hours of time. 

In this article we will review the Divi Theme, I’ll go in depth with my experience, and then discuss costs and sales they have, to help you save money!

What is a Theme? Do I need one?

The simple answer to this is: A theme is the layout of your website (colors, fonts, columns, pages, etc.) and yes, you need a theme!

In more complicated terms, a theme is complex coding that someone has already spent countless hours working on, to allow you to customize your website!

In the world of themes there are two options: Paid and Unpaid themes. 

Now, my thoughts on this are simple, but overlooked!

You get what you pay for! 

Details of the Divi Theme

I chose to go with the Divi bundle from Elegant Themes after reading endless reviews from bloggers about how easy it is to use for new bloggers (much needed!).

The problem I had with it at first was the cost, which is $89 for ALL of their themes, powerful plugins, customer support, and more. 

Trust me, I know how difficult it is to spend that much money on your blog, when you aren’t even making ANYTHING yet! 

However, I held my tongue and purchased this theme. 

And I’ve never gone back. 

Some reasons I believe Divi is One of the top themes:

• Ultimate customization of your website (I can literally control every aspect of everything)
• Hundreds of prebuilt pages, websites, and e-commerce layouts
• Frequent updates with new features

The biggest reason I chose a blog-friendly, proven theme is simply because I wanted control over my blog!

I wanted to be able to customize every photo and adjust every text. 

This is critical as a blogger!

Features of the Divi Theme

With the one price of the theme bundle you get:

• Hundreds of website packs 
• Divi, Extra (you’re looking at it right now!), Monarch, and Bloom
• Ability to put the theme in unlimited websites 
• Frequent product updates

And it costs under $90. 

So, Is It Worth It?

This is the big question, and it will honestly depend on your situation!

Here is a pro/con list of reasons I can imagine why you could benefit from this theme, or why you may want to keep looking:

BUY?:

• It is built for blogs! I use the ”Extra” parent theme and its sole purpose is for bloggers!
• If you plan on selling products on your blog (The e-commerce features are streamlined and are built for the blogger. I look forward to using this feature!)

DON’T BUY?:

• If you aren’t interested in customizing your blog. (Free Themes have very minimal customization but are easy for new bloggers)
• If you want a complicated theme, where you can create everything from scratch, then this may not be for you. Divi is built for the beginner to be able to create a professional product!

Save Your Cash!

I’ve enjoyed my year with this theme so much that I have just renewed to a lifetime membership with Elegant Themes! (Thanks to Cyber Monday deals!)

If you pay for the membership then you get unlimited lifetime updates, unlimited themes and access for all websites, and I will be able to change up and use all the themes for the rest of this blog’s existence! 

Now, a lifetime cost is under $250 but once you build to be a 4-figure (or more!) blog, this cost is pennies! 

TIP: Take advantage of their Cyber Monday or Black Friday deals! You can save about 50% on the price!!

I like to think of this as a one-time cost for a lifetime of blogging success.
