Why ThirtyEight Investing?

My story began like many others in the #debtfreecommunity: I accumulated $70,000 in student loans due to graduate school, had a wedding that sucked up funds, a new home, and high expectations at life. Can you relate?

After being introduced to the concept of financial freedom, I realized this was going to be more of a financial battle.

In attempt to compile all the best financial advice, I made one goal: Retire by 38 (because retiring by 40 is too cliche!). This blog began as a simple compilation of everything that I learned about money, but after experiencing so much along my financial journey, I figured I’d share everything I’ve learned!

Early writings in this blog outline my story of finding the perfect budgeting method, side hustles, buying rental properties, investing in stocks, and every financial learning curve along the way. It has developed into a massive hub of information for women wanting to gain confidence in the real estate investing.
